What is it made of?
Bionext wound dressing is made of bacterial cellulose, acquired at our own laboratories without the addicion of any other components.

How to apply it(whatch the vídeo)?
1º - Clean the wound with saline solution.
2º - Place Bionext on the top of the wound and using a wet gaze to remove all the bubbles that can form beneath the bandage.
3º - Make an addicional bandage keeping it for 48hours or untill the total adherence of the product to the wound.
4º - After verifying total adherence of Bionext wound dressing, cut out the excedent edges. Leave Bionext on untill it get loose, by itself.

What is the difference between Bionext and the competing wound dressings?
Bionext wound dressing eliminates the constant exchanges, it works as a temporary skin substitute, and allow the passage of gases, thus working as a bacterial barrier against environmental hazards.

Can Bionext be used in an infected wound?
No, the infection should be treated first, so Bionext wound dressing treatment can achieve the appropriated result. If the professional is able to have a close follow up of the patient, the dressing can be used together with an oral antibiotic.

Can Bionext be used in exudative wounds?
To get better result by the use of Bionext, the exudate quantity should be moderated to light.

Can Bionext be used in a necrosed área?
No, the necrotic tissue should be removed so the Bionext treatment achieve the appropriate result.

Can I take shower using Bionext?
After verified the total adherence on the wound, the shower can be taken with no special care needed.

Does Bionext require exchanges?
No, Bionext wound dressing doesn’t require regular exchanges. Only when the membrane gets torn or when there is exudate in excess. Also, in some cases if the professional prefers to substitute it, it can be done following a very simple procedure.

Can Bionext be used with topic medication?
No, after Bionext is aplied, no topic medication will have the efficiency needed.
